duḥkhāṃ vā, aduḥkhāsukhāṃ vā tāsāṃ vedanānāṃ samudayaṃ cāstaṃgamaṃ cāsvādaṃ cādīnavaṃ ca niḥsaraṇaṃ ca yathābhūtaṃ prajānāmīti. sa tāsāṃ vedanānāṃ samudayam cāstaṃgamaṃ cāsvādaṃ cādīnavaṃ ca niḥsaraṇaṃ ca yathābhūtaṃ prajānaṃ tāsu utpannāsu vedanāsv anityānupaśyī viharati vyayānupaśyī virāgānupaśyī nirodhānupaśyī pratiniḥsargānupaśyī viharati. 15. sa kāyaparyantikāṃ vedanāṃ vedayānaḥ praveditaṃ. 8. brāhmaṇā evam āhur. na mama kvacana kaścana kiñcanam asti nāsya kvacana kaścana kiñcanam astīti vadamānā brāhmaṇāḥ satyam āhur na mṛśā. pūrvavad yāvad iti yad atra satyaṃ tad anabhiniviśya sarvaloke amamāyanto viharaṃti. idaṃ tritīyaṃ brāhmaṇasatyaṃ yan mayā svayam abhijñāya sākṣīkṛtvopasaṃpadya praveditaṃ.
