saṃyogastadabhāvāt / nityameva paratantraṃ svakārye 'haṅkārākhye janayitavye prakṛtyā pūramapekṣate anyathā kṣīṇā satī nāhaṅkāraṃ janayituṃ kṣamā bhavati tathāhaṅkāro 'pi svakārye prakṛtyā pūramapekṣate evaṃ kāraṇamātraṃ svakārye janayitavye tadapekṣāṃ kurute tathā ca svakārye janayitavye paratantraṃ vyaktam / yata ityabhivyāpya yaduktaṃ tadviparītamavyaktam yadyapyavyaktasya pariṇāmalakṣaṇākriyāsti tathāpi na parispandaḥ // idānīṃ vyaktāvyaktayoḥ sādharmyaṃ puruṣācca vaidharmyaṃ pratipādanīyam / vyaktaṃ hi triguṇaṃ trayo guṇāḥ sukhaduḥkhamohātmakā asyeti / atra kāryakāraṇayorabhedāt sukhādiśabdaiḥ sattvādayo 'bhidhīyante triguṇamityuktyā sattvādīnāmātmaguṇatvaṃ parābhimatamapākṛtaṃ veditavyam / tathā aviveki yathā pradhānaṃ sato na vivicyate tathā mahadādayo 'pi pradhānānna vivicyante tatsvarūpatvāt / yadvā saṃbhūyakāritā 'vivekaḥ nahyekaṃ kiñcitkāryaṃ janayituṃ kṣamaṃ bhavatyapi tu saṃbhūya sarvaḥ sarvaṃ karoti / evamacetanaṃ pradhānabuddhyādayaḥ sarve acetanā tathā prasavarūpadharmavantaḥ / ete vyaktadharmāḥ kathitāsta evāvyaktasyāpītyavagantavyamidameva vyaktāvyaktayoḥ sādharmyam // ete sādharmyavaidharmyābhyāṃ vyaktāvyakte nirūpite tadubhayagatadharmarahitatvāt viparītaḥ puruṣa iti puruṣasya vyaktāvyaktavaidharmyam / nanvahetumattvanityatvādi pradhānasādharmyaṃ puruṣasya pratīyate tathā cānekatvaṃ vyaktasādharmyamevaṃ sati kathaṃ vyaktāvyaktaviparītaḥ puruṣa iti cenna ahetumattvādisādharmye 'pyatraiguṇyādyasyāstyeva vaidharmyamiti na doṣaḥ / na ca traiguṇyamaprasiddham prītyaprītiviṣādātmakā guṇā iti sāṃkhyācāryāḥ / atra krameṇa prītiḥ sukhaṃ tadeva sattvam tathā aprītirduḥkhamaprītyātmako rajo guṇaḥ evaṃ viṣādo moho viṣādātmakastamoguṇaḥ / yanmate prītirduḥkhābhāvaḥ tathā duḥkhamapi prītyabhāvastannivṛttyarthaṃ mūlakāreṇātmagrahaṇaṃ kṛtamātmaśabdasya bhāvatattvena netaretarāśrayastathāsatyekasyāpi siddhirna syāt / prakāśapravṛttiniyamanameṣāṃ krameṇa prayojanamapyavagantavyam / kriyātmakena rajasa laghu sattvaṃ sarvatra nītaṃ syādativāyunā tūlāvayavavadyadi guruṇā tamasā niyamanaṃ na syāttamoniyataṃ tu kvacideva pravartayati tatastamo niyamārtham / anyonyābhibhavavṛttayaḥ / eteṣāmanyatamenārthavaśādudbhūtenānyatamamabhibhūyate tadyathā sattvaṃ rajastamasī abhibhūyātmanaḥ śāntāṃ vṛttimadhigacchati tathā rajaḥ sattvatamasī abhibhūya ghorāṃ vṛttimeti evaṃ tamaḥ sattvarajasī abhibhūya mūḍhāmiti / tathā 'nyonyāśrayavṛttayaḥ / yathāhuḥ sattvaṃ pravṛttiniyamāvāśritya rajastamasoḥ prakāśenopakaroti rajaḥ prakāśaniyamāvāśritya pravṛtyetarayoḥ tamaḥ prakāśapravṛttī āśritya niyamenetarayoriti / tathā anyonyajananavṛttayaḥ / anyatamo 'nyatamaṃ janayati jananamatra parimāṇaḥ sa ca guṇānāṃ sadṛśarūpaḥ / ata eva na hetumattvaṃ tattvāntarasya hetorabhāvāt / nāpyanityatvaṃ tattvāntare layābhāvāt / anyonyasaṃjñāvyabhicāriṇaśca / uktañca anyonyamithunāḥ sarve sarve sarvatragāminaḥ / rajaso mithunaṃ sattvaṃ sattvasya mithunaṃ rajaḥ // tamasaścāpi mithune te sattvarajasī ubhe / mithunavṛttitvaṃ sahacārāvyabhicāritvam // ubhayoḥ sattvarajasormithunaṃ tama ucyate / naiṣāmādiḥ saṃprayogo viyogo vopalabhyate // iti / niyatakṛtyaṃ tu teṣāmidaṃ laghutvaṃ prakāśakatvaṃ ca sattvasyaiva na tu tayoḥ kasyacit tatrordhvagamanahetubhūto dharmo lāghavaṃ gauravāsahavarti yato 'gnerūrdhvajvālā gatirbhavati tadeva kasyacittiryaggamane heturyathā vāyoḥ / evaṃ karaṇānāṃ vṛttikuśalatāheturlāghavaṃ gurutve tu tāni mandāni syuriti sattvasya prakāśātmakatvamuktam / sattvatamasī akriyatayā svakāryotpādane 'vasīdantī rajasopaṣṭebhyete / avasādādvimucyotsāhe prayatnavatī kriyete / uktaṃ ca sattvaṃ laghu prakāśakamiṣṭamupaṣṭambhakaṃ calaṃ ca rajaḥ / kuta upaṣṭambhakaṃ yataścalamiti / rajaścalatayā sarvatastraiguṇyaṃ cālayedyadi guruṇā āvṛṇvatā tamasā tatra pratibandho na syāt tamasā tu tatastato vyāvṛttya kvacideva pravartyate iti niyāmakaṃ tamaḥ / yathāhuḥ guru varaṇakameva tama iti / tathāca laghu prakāśakaṃ sattvameva upaṣṭambhakaṃ calaṃ ca raja eva guru varaṇakaṃ tama eva / nanu parasparaṃ virodhaśīlānāṃ guṇānāṃ sundopasundanyāyena parasparaṃ bādha eva yukto na tvekakāryakartṛtvamiti cet na evaṃbhūtānāmapyekakāryakartṛtāyāḥ pradarśanāt / tadyathā varttitaile analavirodhinī athānalena militvā rūpaprakāśalakṣaṇaṃ kāryaṃ kurutaḥ yathāca vātapittaśleṣmāṇaḥ parasparaṃ virodhaśīlā api militāḥ santaḥ śarīradhāraṇakāryyakāriṇaḥ tathā sattvarajastamāṃsi viruddhaśīlānyapi saha vartsyanti militvā caikaṃ kāryyaṃ kariṣyanti ca puruṣārthavaśāt / uktañca pradīpavaccārthato vṛttiriti / guṇānāṃ pradhānātmakatvādaikye 'pyabhibhāvyābhibhāvakarūpeṇa nānātvam / uktaṃ ekaiva strī guṇakularūpaśīlayauvanasampannā svāminaṃ sukhākaroti tat kasya hetostaṃ prati tasyāḥ sukharūpasamudbhavāt saiva sapatnīrduḥkhākaroti tatkasya hetostāṃ prati tasyāḥ duḥkharūpasamudbhavāt evaṃ puruṣāntaraṃ tāmavindamānaṃ saiva mohayati tatkasya hetostaṃ prati tasyāḥ moharūpasamudbhavāt / anayā striyā sarve bhāvā vyākhyātāḥ / tatra yatsukhakāraṇaṃ tatsukhātmakaṃ sattvam evaṃ yat duḥkhakāraṇaṃ tat duḥkhātmakaṃ rajaḥ tathā yanmohahetustanmohātmakaṃ tamaḥ / tasmātkāraṇavyāpārātsadeva kāryaṃ pūrvam / tadeva punastadvyāpārādāvirbhavati yathā santyeva kūrmāṅgāni niḥsaranti vibhajyante idaṃ kūrmaśarīrametāni tadaṅgāni tena tāni saṅkocitāni tasminnavyaktībhavanti tathā mṛtsuvarṇādibhyaḥ santyeva ghaṭakuṇḍalādīnyāvirbhavanti vibhajyante iyaṃ mṛdayaṃ tatkāryo ghaṭa ityādi / tathā santyeva pṛthivyādīni kāraṇāttanmātrādāvirbhavanti vibhajyante idamasya kāraṇamidamasya kāryamiti tathā santyeva tanmātrāṇyahaṅkārādāvirbhavanti vibhajyante evaṃ sannevāhaṅkāro mahato 'bhivyaktimeti sanneva ca mahānmūlaprakṛterabhivyaktiṃ yāti / evaṃ kāraṇabhūtātparamāvyaktātsākṣātpāramparyeṇa samanvitasya kāryabhūtasya prapañcasya vibhāgaḥ / sargamātraṃ mṛtpiṇḍaṃ hemapiṇḍaṃ vā viśanto ghaṭakuṇḍalādayo 'vyaktībhavanti kāraṇarūpeṇābhivyaktā api kāryarūpeṇānabhivyaktībhavanti tathā pṛthivyādayastanmātrāṇi viśantaḥ svasvarūpeṇa tanmātrāṇyabhivyaktayanti svasvarūpeṇa kāraṇamabhivyaktamapi kāryasvarūpaṃ svakīyaṃ svasminnanabhivyaktayati tanmātrāṇi tathāhaṅkāraṃ viśantyahaṅkāraṃ svāpekṣayā 'vyaktayanti tathāhaṅkāro mahāntaṃ viśan mahāntamavyaktayati mahānpradhānaṃ svakāraṇaṃ viśan tadavyaktayati pradhānasya tu na kvacitpraveśo 'kāraṇatvādapi tu tatsarvakāryāṇāmavyaktam kāraṇam evamavibhāgaḥ / prakṛtau viśvasyaivaṃ vibhāgāvibhāgau / kecana avyaktaṃ vā mahāntaṃ vāhaṅkāraṃ vā indriyāṇi vā bhūtāni vā ātmatvenādāya tānevopāsate te tu vakṣyamāṇarītyā 'pākaraṇīyāḥ / avyaktādervyatiriktaḥ puruṣo 'sti avyaktamahadahaṅkārādayaḥ parārthāḥ kutaḥ saṅghātatvāt yaḥ saṅghāto bhavati sa parārtho dṛṣṭastailatāmbūlaghṛtadadhidugdhānnavastrādivat sukhaduḥkhamohātmakatvena sarve saṅghātāstathāca yadarthaṃ saṅghātāḥ sa eva puruṣaḥ / nanu śayanāsanādiḥ saṅghātaḥ saṅghātaśarīrādiparārtho dṛṣṭo na tvātmānaṃ prati parārthaḥ tasmātsaṅghātāntarameva sādhayeyurnāsaṃhatamātmānamiti yaduktam tanna sādhu saṅghātasya saṅghātāntarārthatve tasyāpi saṅghātatvātsaṃghātāntarārthatā tasyāpi saṅghātatvāttathātvaṃ tasyāpi tathātvamityanavasthā dustarā syāt / kiñca saṅghātasya pārārthyamātreṇa vyāptirna tu saṅghātapārārthyena / na ca dṛṣṭāntadṛṣṭatvāttathā kalpyata iti vācyam / dṛṣṭāntadṛṣṭayāvaddharmāṇāṃ dārṣṭāntike sādhanāyānumānamicchato dṛṣṭāntamahānasādigatamahānasatvādeḥ parvatādāvabhāvātsarvānumānocchedaḥ syāt / yathāhuḥ triguṇatvādayo hi dharmā saṅghātatvena vyāptāḥ te tu asminpare vyāvartamānāstraiguṇyādi vyāvartayanti brāhmaṇyamiva nivartamānaṃ kaṭhatvādikam / adhiṣṭhānādapi puruṣāstitvaṃ siddhyati triguṇātmakānāṃ buddhyādīnāmadhiṣṭhīyamānatvāt yathā rathādiryantrādibhiradhiṣṭhīyate tathā sukhaduḥkhamohātmakaṃ buddhyādi pareṇādhiṣṭhātavyam / bhoktṛbhāvādapi puruṣāstitvamavaseyam bhogye hi sukhaduḥkhe anukūlapratikūlavedanīye pratyātmamanubhūyete tenānayoranukūlatayā pratikūlatayā vā 'nubhavitrā kenacidbhavitavyam / na ca buddhyādireva tatheti vācyam / teṣāṃ sukhādyātmakatvena svenaiva svavedane ātmāśrayaḥ syāt / kaivalyārthaṃ pravṛtterapi puruṣāstitvaṃ siddham duḥkhatrayātyantikanivṛttilakṣaṇaṃ kaivalyaṃ na tāvadbuddhyādīnāṃ te hi sukhaduḥkhamohātmakāḥ kathaṃ svabhāvādviyojayituṃ śakyāḥ tasmātkaivalyārthamāgamānāṃ mahādhiyāṃ ca pravṛtterasti buddhyādvyatirikta ātmeti puruṣāstitvaṃ siddham / nanu bhavatvevaṃ buddhyādyatiriktātmasiddhistathāpi sa kiṃ pratiśarīraṃ bhinna eka eva veti cedbhinna eveti brūmaḥ janmamaraṇādivyavasthānyathānupapattyā bahutvasyaiva sambhavāt / uktaṃ ca sāṃkhyācāryaiḥ / janmamaraṇakaraṇānāṃ pratiniyamādayugapatpravṛtteśca / puruṣabahutvaṃ siddhaṃ traiguṇyaviparyayāccaiva // jātiviśiṣṭābhirapūrvābhirdehendriyamano 'haṅkārabuddhivedanābhiḥ puruṣasyābhisambandho janma na tu puruṣasya pariṇāmastasyāpariṇāmitvāt teṣāmeva ca dehādīnāmupāttānāṃ parityāgo maraṇaṃ na tvātmano vināśastasya kūṭasthasya nityatvāt / buddhyādīni karaṇāni trayodaśa teṣāṃ janmamaraṇakaraṇānāṃ pratiniyamo vyavasthā sā tviyaṃ śarvaśarīreṣvekasminpuruṣe na sambhavati tathā satyekasminsukhini sarve sukhinaḥ syuḥ duḥkhini vā duḥkhino bhaveyuḥ tathā ekasmin mriyamāṇe sarve mriyeran jāyamāne ca jāyeran evamekasminnandhabadhirādau sarva eva tathā syuḥ na tvevamasti tathā ekasminvicitte sarve vicittāḥ syurityavyavasthā puruṣabhede tu samyagupapadyate vyavasthā / nacaikasminnapi puruṣe dehāntaropādhivaśāt upapadyata eva vyavastheti vācyam karacaraṇastanādibhedenāpi janmamaraṇādivyavasthā syāt / guṇatrayaviparyayādapi puruṣabahutvamavaseyam / tadyathā kecitsattvabahulāḥ yathorddhvasrotasaḥ kecidrahobahulāḥ yathā manuṣyāḥ kecittamobahulāḥ yathā tiryagyonayaḥ / puruṣasya bahutvavadatriguṇatvaṃ vivekitvamaviṣayatvamasādhāraṇatvaṃ cetanatvamaprasavadharmitvaṃ sākṣitvādikamapi boddhavyam / pradhānapuruṣayoḥ saṃyogakṛto 'yaṃ sargaḥ sa cāpekṣāṃ vinā bhinnayorna sambhavati apekṣā ca svadarśanārthaṃ puruṣeṇa pradhānasya pradhānaṃ hi viṣayātmakatayā bhogyam bhogaśca bhoktāramantareṇa na bhavatīti bhoktrapekṣā pradhānasya puruṣasya svakaivalyārthaṃ pradhānāpekṣā pradhānena hi bhogyena sambhinnaḥ puruṣastadgataṃ duḥkhatrayaṃ svātmanyabhimanyamānaḥ kaivalyaṃ prārthayate tattu sattvapuruṣānyatākhyātikāraṇakaṃ sattvapuruṣānyatākhyātiśca pradhānamantarā na bhavatīti puruṣasya pradhānāpekṣayā paṅgvandhavadubhayoḥ saṃyogaḥ bhogāyānādiparamparāsaṃyukto 'pi kaivalyāya punaḥ saṃyujyate sa ca saṃyogo mahadādisargamantareṇa bhogāpavargayoḥ samartho na bhavatīti saṃyoga eva mahadādisargaṃ karoti / uktañca / prakṛtermahāṃstato 'haṅkārastasmādgaṇaśca ṣoḍaśakaḥ / tasmādapi ṣoḍaśakātpañcabhyaḥ pañca bhūtāni // ekādaśendriyāṇi pañca tanmātrāṇi ceti ṣoḍaśasaṃkhyāmito gaṇaḥ ṣoḍaśakaḥ / uktañca tatra śabdatanmātrādākāśaṃ śabdaguṇam, śabdatanmātrasahitācca sparśatanmātrādvāyuḥ śabdasparśaguṇaḥ, śabdasparśatanmātrasahitādrūpatanmātrāttejaḥ śabdasparśarūpaguṇaṃ, śabdasparśarūpatanmātrasahitādrasatanmātrācchabdasparśarūparasaguṇaṃ jalam, śabdasparśarūparasatanmātrāsahitādgandhatanmātrācchabdasparśarūparasagandhaguṇā pṛthivī jāyate / adhyavasāyo buddhiḥ kriyākriyāvatorabhedavivakṣayā vyapadeśaḥ / dharmo jñānaṃ virāga aiśvaryamiti sāttvikāḥ buddhidharmāḥ etadviparītāstvadharmādayastāmasāḥ / buddhidharmādaiśvaryādaṇimādiprādurbhāvaḥ / tacca aṇimā mahimā caiva garimā laghimā tathā / prāptiḥ prākāmyamīśitvaṃ vaśitvaṃ cāṣṭasiddhayaḥ // iti / nanvekādaśaka indriyagaṇaḥ pañcatanmātrakaṃ ceti dvividhaḥ pravartate sargo 'haṅkārāt tathā caikasmādahaṅkārāt kāraṇātkathaṃ prakāśajaḍātmako vilakṣaṇaḥ sarga iti yaduktaṃ tanna sundaram prakāśalāghavābhyāmekādaśaka indriyagaṇaḥ sāttvikādahaṅkārādbhavati bhūtādestvahaṅkārāt tāmasāttanmātragaṇaḥ / yadyapyeko 'haṅkārastathāpi guṇodbhavābhibhavābhyāṃ bhinnaṃ kāryaṃ karoti / nanu yadi sattvatamobhyāmeva sargaḥ kṛtaṃ tarhi rajasā akiñcikareṇeti cenna taijasādubhayamiti mūlakaraḥ taijasādubhayaṃ gaṇadvayaṃ bhavati sargadvayaṃ sattvatamasoriti / yadyapi rajaso na kāryāntaramasti tathāpi sattvatamasī svayamakriye samarthe api na kāryaṃ kuruto rajasā cālite tu tatprasādāt prāptakriye svakāryotpādane samarthe bhavata iti rājasādubhayam / yathāhuḥ ubhayasminnapi kārye sattvatamasoḥ kriyotpādanadvāreṇāsti rajasaḥ kāraṇatvamiti na vyarthaṃ raja iti / indriyavicārastu tattvapradīpe kṛta iti vistarabhayānneha pratanyate / mahadahaṅkāramanāṃsyantarindriyāṇi tāni svalakṣaṇāni svamasādhāraṇaṃ lakṣaṇaṃ yeṣāṃ tāni svalakṣaṇāni tacca mahato 'dhyavasāyaḥ ahaṅkārasyābhimānaḥ saṅkalpo manaso vṛttirvyāpāraḥ / eteṣāṃ vṛttidvaividhyaṃ sādhāraṇatvāsādhāraṇatvābhyāmāha saiṣā bhavatyasāmānyā iti / eṣoktā 'sādhāraṇī vṛttiḥ sādhāraṇī vṛttistu karaṇānāṃ prāṇādyā vāyavaḥ pañca karaṇatrayasya pañca vāyavo vṛttirjīvanaṃ tadbhāve bhāvāt abhāve cābhāvāt / tatra prāṇo nāsāgrahṛnnābhipādāṅguṣṭhavṛttiḥ apānaḥ kṛkāṭikāpṛṣṭhapārśvapāyūpasthavṛttiḥ samāno hṛnnābhisarvasandhivṛttiḥ udāno hṛtkaṇṭhatālamūrdhabhrūmadhyavṛttiḥ vyānastvagvṛttiriti pañca vāyavaḥ / avidyā pañcavidhā tathāhi avidyā 'smitārāgadveṣābhiniveśā yathāsaṃkhyaṃ tamomohamahāmohatāmisrāndhatāmisrasaṃjñakā ceti pañcaparvā / pratyayasargatadbhedāstvativistarabhayātsanto 'pi na nidarśyante pratyayasargo buddhisargaḥ uktañca eṣa pratyayasargo viparyayāśaktituṣṭisiddhyākhyaḥ / pratīyate 'neneti pratyayo buddhistasya sargaḥ pratyayasargaḥ / daivasargastu mūlakāreṇaiva spaṣṭo niruktaḥ / sa ca aṣṭavikalpo daivaḥ sargaḥ brāhmaprājāpatyaindrapaitryagāndharvayākṣarākṣasapaiśāca ityaṣṭavikalpo daivasargaḥ / tiryagyonayaśca pañcavidhā bhavanti paśumṛgapakṣisarīsṛpasthāvarāḥ / mānuṣaścaikavidhaḥ brāhmaṇatvādyavantarajātibhedāvivakṣayā saṃsthānasya caturṣvapyaviśeṣāditi // nanu prādhāniko 'yaṃ sargaḥ pradhānaṃ ca jaḍaṃ kathaṃ svārthaṃ parārthaṃ vā pravṛttiṃ kartumarhati tasmātkenaciccetanena prakṛtyadhiṣṭhātrā bhavitavyam / na ca kṣetrajñāstathā teṣāṃ prakṛtisvarūpānabhijñatvāt tasmādasti prakṛteradhiṣṭhātā kaścitsarvajñaḥ sa eveśvara iti cenna acetanamapi prayojanavaśāt pravartamānaṃ dṛṣṭaṃ yathā vatsavivṛddhyarthamacetanamapi kṣīraṃ pravartate tathā jaḍāpi prakṛtiḥ puruṣavimokṣāya pravartiṣyate / kiñcābhokturīśvarasya pravṛttau na karuṇāṃ vinā 'nyat prayojanaṃ paśyāmaḥ / sā ca nirupādhiparaduḥkhaprahāṇecchā sṛṣṭeḥ pūrvaṃ prāṇyabhāvādeva tatsambandhiduḥkhābhāvāt kasya nivṛttau pravṛttiḥ syādīśvarasya / na ca sargānantaramīśvarapravṛttiḥ sargasya jātatvādeva neśvaraprayojanaṃ paśyāmaḥ / na ca duḥkhanivṛttiḥ prayojanaṃ tadarthaṃ tatpravṛttau jagati ko 'pi duḥkhī na syāt / uktañca prekṣāvataḥ pravṛtteḥ svārthakāruṇyābhyāṃ vyāptatvāt te ca jagatsargādvyāvartamāne prekṣāvatpravṛttipūrvakatvamapi nivartayataḥ na hyāptasakalepsitasya bhagavato jagatsṛjataḥ kimapyabhilaṣitaṃ bhavati nāpi kāruṇyādasya sarge pravṛttiḥ prāksargājjīvānāmindriyaśarīraviṣayānutpattau duḥkhābhāvena kasya prahāṇecchā kāruṇyena sṛṣṭiḥ sṛṣṭyā ca kāruṇyamiti parasparāśrayaḥ / api ca karuṇayā pravṛttaḥ sukhina eva jantūnsṛjet na daridrān / na ca karmavaicitryāt jagadvaicitryam tarhi kṛtamīśvareṇa tata eva jagadvaicitryopapatteḥ pravṛttistu pārārthyaprayojanavaśāt jaḍasyāpi dṛśyate vatsavivṛddhinimittaṃ dugdhasyeva / nanu bhavatu prakṛteḥ pravartakaḥ puruṣārtho nivartakaṃ na tu kamapi paśyāma iti cenna yathā nartakī pariṣadbhyo nṛtyaṃ darśayitvā svayameva nivartate na tu tasyāḥ svanivṛttau nivartakāntarāpekṣā tathā śabdādyātmakaṃ svasvarūpaṃ puruṣādbhedena prakāśya sādhitapuruṣaprayojanā svayameva nivartate prakṛtiḥ / yathāhuḥ sāṃkhyācāryāḥ / raṅgasya darśayitvā nivartate yathā nartakī nṛtyāt / puruṣasya tathātmānaṃ prakāśya vinivartate prakṛtiḥ // nanu yathā darśitanṛtyā nartakī draṣṭṛkautuhalātpunaḥ pravartate tathā prakṛtirapi puruṣāyātmānaṃ darśayitvā nivṛttāpi punaścet pravartete tadā muktānāmapi punaḥ saṃsāraprāptiḥ syāditi cenna yathā parapuruṣadarśanāsahā sūryadarśanavarjitāpi kulavadhūḥ pramādādvigalitāṅgapaṭā cedavalokyate parapuruṣeṇa tadā 'sau tathā pravartate 'pramattāṃ yathaināṃ punaḥ puruṣāntarāni na paśyanti tathā prakṛtiḥ kulavadhūto 'pyadhikā dṛṣṭā biṃbakena punarna darśanamārgameti / uktaṃ ca / prakṛteḥ sukumārataraṃ na kiñcidastīti me matirbhavati / yā dṛṣṭāsmīti punarna darśanamupaiti puruṣasyeti // dharmo jñānaṃ virāga aiśvaryamiti sāttvikā buddhidharmāḥ / adharmājñānāvairāgyānaiśvaryābhidhānāścatvārastāmasāḥ / atra jñānavarjitaiḥ saptabhiḥ prakṛtirbadhnātyātmānaṃ vivekakhyātyā prakṛtipuruṣānyatājñānena saiva vimocayati / uktañca / rūpaiḥ saptabhirevambadhnātyātmānamātmanā prakṛtiḥ / saiva ca puruṣārthama prati vimocayatyekarūpeṇa // yathā vidrumamaṇimauktikaśuktimakarakacchapanāgaśaṃkhakapardakādīn vihāya paramakāruṇikena līlāvigrahadhāriṇā bhagavatā ratnyānyeva samuddhṛtānyudadherdevasamṛddhyarthaṃ tathā jalpatarkābhāsākhyā 'nyatrasulabhaprameyavitaṇḍādīṃśca vihāya sāṃkhyamātaikalabhyaprameyaratnāni sāṃkhyataṃtrādhyayanapariśramālasānāṃ sāṃkhyatantrodadhermayā samuddhṛtāni / rāmakṛṣṇakathā yāvadyāvaccandradivākarau / sāṃkhyatattvapradīpo 'yaṃ tāvadastu mahītale // iti śrīmatparamahaṃsaparivrājakācāryapūjyapādaśrīvaikuṇṭhaśiṣyayatikavirājayatiprakāśitaḥ sāṃkhyatattvapradīpaḥ samāptaḥ //
