ayamabhisandhiḥ---satyaṃ na brahmasākṣātkāraḥ sākṣādāgamayuktiphalamapi tu yuktyāgamārthajñānāhitasaṃskārasacivaṃ cittameva brahmaṇi sākṣātkāravartīṃ buddhivṛttiṃ samādhatte /
sā ca nānumānitavahnisākṣātkāravatprātibhatvenāpramāṇaṃ tadānīṃ vahnisvalakṣaṇasyaparokṣatvātsadātanaṃ tu brahmasvarūpasyopādhirūpitasya jīvasyāparokṣatvam /
nahi śuddhabuddhatvādayo vastutastato 'tiricyante /
jīva eva tu tattadupādhirahitaḥ śuddhādisvabhāvo brahmeti gamyate /
naca tattadupādhiviraho 'pi tato 'tiricyate /
tasmādyathā gāndharvaśāstrārthajñānābhyāsāhitasaṃskāraḥ sacivena śrotreṇa ṣaḍjādisvaragrāmamūrcchanāmedamadhyakṣeṇekṣate evaṃ vedāntārthajñānāhitasaṃskāro jīvasya brahmasvabhāvamantaḥkaraṇeneti /
yastattvamasīti sakṛduktameveti /
śrutvā matvā kṣaṇamavadhāya prāgbhavīyābhyāsajātasaṃskārādityarthaḥ /
yastu na śaknotīti /
prāgbhavīyabrahmābhyāsarahita ityarthaḥ /
nahi dṛṣṭo 'nupapannaṃ nāmeti /
yatra parokṣapratibhāsini vākyārthe 'pi vyaktāvyaktatvatāratamyaṃ tatra mananottarakālamādhyāsanābhyāsanikarṣaprakarṣakramajanmani pratyayapravāhe sākṣātkārāvadhau vyaktitāratamyaṃ prati kaiva katheti bhāvaḥ /
tadevaṃ vākyamātrasyārthe 'pi na drāgityeva pratyaya ityuktam /
tattvamasīti tu vākyamatyantadurgrahapadārthaṃ na padārthajñānapūrvake svārthe jñāne drāgityeva pravartate /
kintu vilambitatamapadārthajñānamativilambenetyāha---apica tatvamasītyetadvākyaṃ tvaṃpadārthasyeti /
syādetat padārthasaṃsargātmā vākyārthaḥ padārthajñānakrameṇa tadadhīnanirūpaṇīyatayā kramavatpratītiryujyate /
brahma tu niraṃśatvenāsasṛṣṭanānātvapadārthakamiti kasyānukramema kramavatī pratītiriti sakṛdeva tadgṛhyeta na vā gṛhyatetyuktamityata āha---yadyapi ca pratipattavya ātmā niraṃśa iti /
niraṃśo 'pyahamaparokṣo 'pyātmā tattaddehādyāropavyudāsābhyāmaṃśavānivātyantaparokṣa iva /
tataśca vākyārthatayā kramavatpratyaya upapadyate /
tatkiṃmiyameva vākyajanitā pratītirātmani tathāca na sākṣātpratītirātmanyanāgataphalatvādasya ityata āha---tattu pūrvarūpamevātmapratipatteḥ sākṣātkāravatyāḥ /

etaduktaṃ bhavati---vākyārthaśravaṇamananottarakālā viśeṣaṇatrayavatī bhāvanā brahma sākṣātkārāya kalpata iti vākyārthapratītiḥ sākṣātkārasya pūrvarūpamiti /
śaṅkate --satyamevamiti /
samāropa hi tatvapratyayenāpodyate na tatvapratyayaḥ /
duḥkhitvādipratyayaścātmani sarveṣāṃ sarvadotpadyata ityabādhitatvātsamīcīna iti balavānna śakyo 'panetumityarthaḥ /
nirākaroti---na /
dehādyabhimānavaditi /

nahi sarveṣāṃ sarvadotpadyata ityetāvatā tātvikatvam /
dehātmābhimānasyāpi satyatvaprasaṅgātso 'pi sarveṣāṃ sarvadotpadyate /
uktaṃ cāsya tatra tatropapatyā bādhanamevaṃ duḥkhitvādyabhimāno 'pi tathā /
nahi nityaśuddhabuddhasvabhāvasyātmanā upajanāpāyadharmāṇo duḥkhaśokādaya ātmāno bhavitumarhanti /
nāpi dharmāḥ teṣāṃ tato 'tyantabhinnānāṃ taddharmatvānupapatteḥ, nahi gauraśvasya dharmaḥ saṃbandhasyāpi vyatirekāvyatirekābhyāṃ saṃbandhāsaṃbandhābhyāṃ ca vicārāsahatvāt /
bhedābhedayośca parasparavirodenaikatrāsaṃbhavatvāt /
iti sarvametadupapāditaṃ dvitīyādhyāye /
tadidamuktaṃ---dehādivadeva caitanyādbahirupalabhyamānatvāditi /
itaśca duḥkhitvādīnāṃ na tādātmyamityāha----suṣuptādiṣu ceti /

kasmādanubhavārtha evāvṛtyabhyupagamo yāvatā draṣṭavyaḥ śrotavya ityādibhistatvamasivākyaviṣayādanyaviṣayaivāvṛttirvidhāsyata ityata āha---tatrāpi na tatvamasivākyārthāditi /
ātmā vā are draṣṭavya ityādyātmaviṣayaṃ darśanaṃ vidhīyate /
na ca tattvamasīvākyaviṣayādanyadātmadarśanamāmnātaṃ yenopakramyate yena copasaṃhriyate sa vākyārthaḥ /
sadeva somyedamiti copakramya tattvamasītyupasaṃhṛta iti sa eva vākyārthaḥ /
taditaḥ prācyāvyāvṛttimanyatra vidadhānaḥ pradhānamaṅgena vihanti /
varo hi karmaṇābhipreyamāṇatvātsaṃpradānaṃ pradhānam /
tamudvāhena karmaṇāṅgena na vighnantīti /
nanu vidhipradhānatvādvākyasya na bhūtārthapradhānatvaṃ bhūtastvarthastadaṅgatayā pratyāyyate /

naca yathā samāropitaṃ sarpatvamanūdya rajjutvaṃ purovartino dravyasyavidhīyata evaṃ prakāśātmano jīvabhāvamanūdya paramātmatvaṃ vidhīyata iti yuktam /
yuktaṃ hi purovartini dravye drāghīyasi sāmānyarūpeṇālocite viśeṣarūpeṇāgṛhīte viśeṣāntarasamāropaṇam /
iha tu prakāśātmano nirviśeṣasāmānyasyāparādhīnaprakāśasya nāgṛhītamasti kiñcidrupamiti kasya viśeṣasyāgrahe kiṃ viśeṣāntaraṃ samāropyatām /
tasmādbrahmaṇo jīvabhāvāropāsaṃbhavājjīvo jīvo brahma ca hrahmeti tattvamasīti pratīkopadeśa eveti prāptam /
evaṃ prāpte 'bhidhīyate---śvetaketorātmaiva parameśvaraḥpratipattavyo na tu śvetaketorvyatiriktaḥ parameśvaraḥ /
bhede hi gauṇatvāpattirna ca mukhyasaṃbhave gauṇatvaṃ yuktam /
apica pratīkopadeśe sakṛdvacanaṃ tu pratīyate bhedadarśananindā ca(?) /
abhyāse hi bhūyastvamarthasya bhavati, nālpatvamatidavīya evopacaritatvam /
tasmātpaurvāparyalocanayā śrutestāvajjīvasya paramātmatā vāstavītyetatparatā lakṣyate /
naca mānāntaravīrodhādatrāprāmāṇyaṃ śruteḥ /
naca mānāntaravirodha ityādi tu sarvamupāditaṃ prathamādhyāye /

tadiha yadyapi sarvādhyakṣatayā vastuto brahmaiva phalaṃ prayacchati tathāpi śāstraṃ brahmabuddhyā'dityādau pratīka upāsyamāne brahma phalāya kalpate ityabhivadati kiṃvādityādibuddhyā brahmaiva viṣayīkṛtaṃ phalāyetyubhayathāpi brahmaṇaḥ sarvādhyakṣasya phaladānopapatteḥ śāstrārthasaṃdehe lokānusārato niścīyate /
tadidamuktam--nirdhārite śāstrārtha etadevaṃ syāditi /
na kevalaṃ laukiko nyāyo niścaye heturapi tu ādityādiśabdānāṃ prāthamyena mukhyārthatvamapītyāha---prāthamyācceti /
iti paratvamapi brahmaśabdasyāmumeva nyāyamavagamayati /
tathāhi----svarapravṛtyā ādityādiśabdā yathā svārthe vartante tathā brahmaśabdo 'pi svārthe vartsyati yadi svārtho 'sya vipakṣitaḥsyāt /
tathācetiparatvamanarthakaṃ tasmāditīnā svārthātpracyāvya brahmapadaṃ jñānaparaṃ svarūpaparaṃ vā kartavyam /
naca brahmapadamādityādipadārtha iti, pratītipara evāyamitiparaḥśabdo yathā gauriti me gavayo 'bhavaditi /
tathāca ādityādayo brahmeti pratipattavyā ityartho bhavatītyāha---itiparatvādapi brahmaśabdasyeti /

nahi tattvamasivākyārthaparibhāvanābhuvā prasaṃkhyānena nirmṛṣṭanikhilakartṛbhoktṛtvādivibhramo jīvaḥ phalopabhogona yujyate /

evaṃ ca sati na śāstrīyatvasāmyamātramavirodhaheturnahi pratyakṣatvasāmānyamātrādavirodho jalānalādīnāṃ /

yathā loka etāvanme ciraṃ yatsnāto bhuñjānaśceti /
nahi tatra snānabhojane avadhitvena vidhīyate kitu kṣapīyastā pratipādyate ubhayavidhāne hi vākyaṃ bhidyetāvadhibhedaḥ ciratāceti prāpte 'bhidhīyate--yadyapyadvaitabrahmatattvasākṣātkāro 'nādyavidyapadarśitapruñcamātravirodhitayā tanmadhyapatitasakalakarmaviredhī /
tathāpyanārabdhavipākaṃ karmajātaṃ drāgityeva samucchinatti na tvārabdhavipākaṃ saṃpāditajātyāyurvitatapūrvāparībhūtasukhaduḥkhopabhogapravāhaṃ karmajātam /
taddhi samudācāradvṛttitayetarebhyaḥprasuptavṛttibhyo balavat /
anyathā devarṣīṇāṃ hiraṇyagarbhamanūddālakaprabhṛtīnāṃvigalitanikhilakleśajālāvaraṇatayā paritaḥ pradyotamānabuddhisatvānāṃ na jyogjīvitā bhavet /
śrūyate caiṣāṃ śrutismṛtītihāsapurāṇeṣu tattvajñatā ca mahākalpakalpamanvantarādijīvitā ca /
na caite mahādhiyo na brahmavido brahmacidaścālpapuṇyamedhaso manuṣyā iti śraddheyaṃ /
tasmādāgamānusārato 'sti prārabdhavibhāgānāṃ karmaṇāṃ prakṣayāya tadīyasamastaphalopabhogapratīkṣā satyapi tattvasākṣātkāre /
tāvadeva ciramiti na ciratā vidhīyate /

api tu śrutyantarasiddhāṃ ciratāmanūdya dehapātāvadhimātravidhānaṃ tadetadabhisaṃdhāyaucityamātratayāha sma bhagavān bhāṣyākāraḥ---na tāvadanāśrityārabdhakāryaṃ karmāśayamiti /

brahmalokeṣviti ca bahuvacanamekasminnapi prayogasādhutāmātreṇa gamayitavyam /
lokaśabdaścālokane prakāśe vartayitavyo na tu sanniveśavati deśaviśeṣe /
tasmāt parabrahmaprāptyarthaṃ gatyupadeśasāmarthyādayamartho bhavati /
yathā vidyākarmavaśādarcirādinā gatasya satyalokamatikramya paraṃ jagatkāraṇaṃ brahma lokamālokaṃ svayaṃ prakāśakamiti yāvat /

na tāvadvidyākārye tayā saha tasyā dvaitādvaitagocaratayā mitho virodhena sahāsaṃbhavāt /

lokatvaṃ celāvṛttādivatsanniveśaviśeṣavati bhogabhūmau nirūḍhaṃ na kathañcidyogena prakāśe vyākhyātaṃ bhavati /
tasmātsādhudarśī sa bhagavānbādarirasādhudarśī jaiminiriti siddham /

tathāhurāgaminaḥ-ko hi yogaprabhāvādṛte 'gastya iva samudraṃ pibati sa iva daṇḍakāraṇyaṃ sṛjati /

ajñānasāgaraṃ tīrtvā brahmatattvamabhīpsatām /

yannyāyakaṇikātattvasamīkṣātattvabindubhiḥ /
yannyāyasāṃkhyayogānāṃ vedāntānāṃ nibandhanaiḥ //3//

samacaiṣaṃ mahatpuṇyaṃ tatphalaṃ puṣkalaṃ mayā /
samarpitamathaitena prīyatāṃ parameśvaraḥ //4//

nṛpāntarāṇāṃ manasāpyagamyāṃ bhrūkṣepamātreṇa cakāra kīrtim /
kārtasvarāsārasupūritārthasārthaḥ svayaṃ śāstravicakṣaṇaśca //5//

nareśvarā yaccaritānukāramicchanti kartuṃ naca pārayanti /
tasminmahīpe mahanīyakīrtau śrīmannṛge 'kāri mayā nibandhaḥ //6//
