pramāṇaṃ tu---kvacidapyartheṣvanavagāḍhāvaṣṭambhāṃ svātmanyapyanupajātavisrambhāṃ ḍolāyamānāṃ buddhiṃ kareṇumiva tarkaśṛṅkhalābhirālānayanmananavyapadeśaṃ śāstram ; yasya saṃjñāntaraṃ nyāyavistaraḥ tarkaśāstram ityādi //
tadetat pramāṇapradhānamapi pramāṇagateḥ prameyasvarūpavivecanaparyavasānatayā prameyepi nyastapadaṃ pravṛttam /
itaretaravisaṃvādasaṃrabdhoddhurairāstikairnāstikaiśca bahudhā vādibhiḥ svasvacchandānurodhenānyathā cānyathā ca prameyaṃ pratipadyamānairitastataḥ parikṛṣyamāṇāni pramāṇānyapi parāvṛttarūpatayā lakṣaṇato durgrahāṇyabhūvan /
mānābhāsavyāmiśrāṇi hi mānāni na sukarāṇi vivektum /
tadevaṃ śāstrameva paṅkilīkṛtaṃ cakṣuriva timiropasṛṣṭaṃ vigalitārthagrahaṇāpāṭava saṃvṛttam /
aviparyastalakṣaṇaṃ pramāṇavargaṃ parigṛhṇādbhirapi saugatārhatakāpilacārvākajaiminīyādibhiraṅgeṣvavāntarabhedeṣu canyūnātirekamāsthitairanekadhopayogādanekāntīkṛtamatayaḥ kṛtamatayopi svasvopadeśapāramparīpratyayādekatamaṃ pakṣamabhimanyamānāḥ sparigrahāvasādakātaratayā pakṣāntareṣu sābhyasūyāścirāyāpi garukuleṣu pariśramyālabdhabuddhiprasādā vibhrāmyanta evānubhūyante /
ataḥ sarvopayogāya doṣaguṇahānopādānābhyāṃ śikṣaṇīyasyāsya nyāyavistarasya pṛthakprasthānaṃ nyāyadarśanaṃ nāma sūtrajātaṃ gautamena muninā prathamaṃ praṇītam ; yatra pramāṇāpramāṇādivivecanayā tattvanirṇayopāyāstatra ca saṃbhavanto guṇadoṣāḥ kathāsu ca grāhyāparihāryavibhāgāḥ saviśeṣaṃ pradarśitāḥ //
tacca nyāyadarśanaṃ prathamaṃ pramāṇaprameyādisūtreṇa ṣoḍaśadhā padārthān vibhajya tatparīkṣaṇena caritārthama /
tatra prameyatvasya kevalānvayinaḥ sarvapadārthasādhāraṇatayā vibhājakatvamanupapadyamānaṃ manyamānena kaṇādena muninā kṛtsnameva prameyajātaṃ dravyādisaptapadārthaparisaṃkhyānenāsaṃkīrṇaṃ vibhaktam /
tatra ca sāmānyaviśeṣasamavāyābhāvān vitathamevāpadārthān padārthayatā tathāvidhameva cānyadanyadālapatā grāhyamagṛhṇatā tyājyaṃ cātyajatā kaṇabhakṣeṇa dūramapathīkṛtaḥ śāstrapatha iti brahmasūtrakārādibhiḥ pratikṣipto vaiśeṣikaḥ pakṣaḥ /
nyāyapakṣastu śaṅkyamānopasargopi kathañcidvyākhyānādheyasaṃskāratayā nātyarthaparivarjanīyaḥ iti manyamānāḥ katipayasaṃskārasaṃskṛtamimaṃ pakṣaṃ parigṛhya nibandhān nibabandhuḥ pūrve kecidācāryāḥ /
te ca nibandhā eṣu divaseṣu nāmnaiva kevalamavaśiṣyantotadyathā--śrīmannāthamunimiśrapraṇītaṃ nyāyatattvam, śrīmatparāśarabhaṭṭārakakṛtistattvaratnākaraḥ, śrībhagavadyāmunācāryāṇāmācāryaiḥ śrīmannāthamunicaraṇāśrayāṇāṃ śrīpuṇḍarīkākṣāṇāṃ śiṣyaiśca śrīrāmamiśragurubhirviracitaṃ vivaraṇaṃ ṣaḍarthasaṃkṣepaśceti granthadvayam, aviditaprabandhṛvyapadeśaṃ nyāyasudarśanaṃ prajñāparitrāṇāṃ ceti prabandhayugalam, śrīmannārāyaṇamuniviracitatvenācāryopāttaṃ nāmnā cānuddiṣṭaṃ kimapi prabandharatnam, asyaiva ca nyāyapariśuddhipraṇeturācāryasyācāryeṇa mātulena ca vādihaṃsāmbuvāhaḥ iti praśastināmāṅkitena ātreyarāmānujācāryeṇa kṛtaṃ svapratibhādraviṇanikṣepāyamāṇaṃ nyāyakuliśābhidhānaṃ cetyete nibandhāḥ nyāyapariśuddhikṛtaivācāryeṇa tatra tatra bhūyiṣṭhamudāhriyante /
yadeva yāvadeva cācāryeṇa kvacit kvacidudāhṛtaṃ vākyaṃ vākyakhaṇḍaṃ vā, tadatiriktaṃ kiyadapi ṭīkākṛtāmapi dṛṣṭiviṣayībhūtaṃ nopalabhyate /
ayamatra hetuḥ pratibhāti---ācāryasaṃnihitakāleṣvapyanatisaṃkṣepavistararamaṇīyāni prasphuṭārthāni nityaprakāśānyācāryaśrīsūktiratnānyavamṛśya rasāsvādavādivijayaśiṣyapravacanādripravaṇeṣu uparyupari vyākhyānādipraṇayanairavistṛtya śāstraṃ vitathamevātipātitakāleṣu śiṣyapraśiṣyavargeṣu kumāravedāntācāryādiṣu, atīte ca gaṇarātre kaiścidarvācīnairāvirbhūtairgranthakṛdbhirajñātapūrvavṛttāntairyathākathañcidvyākhyānena kaścidupakāraḥ kṛta iti //
hanta ! niḥśeṣakṣālitākhilakalaṅkasyāpyasya śrībhagavadrāmānujasiddhāntasyedamekaṃ śocanīyaṃ vaiśasam ; yat tāvadācāryapadābhiṣiktairapyarvācīnairbudhavaraiḥ kāṇādagautamīyādisāmānyaśāstrapariśrameṇa vyayitavayobhirantime vayasi kathañcidupajātavedāntatṛṣṇaiḥ śiṣyasaṃgrahaṇakṛtakṣaṇairavaśyopādeyopadeśaśrībhāṣyādikatipayagranthagrahaṇacaritārthairanādṛtāḥ prācāmācāryāṇāṃ vāgvistarā etarhi śrotumapi durlabhatāṃ gamitārḥ /
idṛśoyaṃ vidyāvadhaḥ kasya vā vidyāvyasanino na dūnoti mānasam ? /
athavā kṛtaṃ prācāṃ prabandhapraṇāśacintanena /
asyaivācāryasya vāṅmadhuniṣyando mudhaiva kiyān na visraṃsitaḥ /
sarvatantrasvatantrāṇāmācāryacaraṇānāṃ śatādhikāḥ prabandhā hāravimalāḥ prasiddhāḥ /
saṃskṛtaprākṛtadrāviḍabhāṣābhistrarauśikāni kāvyanāṭakastotrāṇi, lokaśāstravyavahāranirūḍhasaṃskṛtavyatikīrṇadrāviḍabhāṣāmayāni ca caturtharāśiniviṣṭānilaukikānāmapyanugrāhakāni parīkṣakāṇāmapi sugrahasāṃpradāyikatattvahitapuruṣārthānyādarśavimalāni maṇipravālaśabditāni niyataśrāvyatayā rahasyasaṃjñitāni siddhāntaniṣkarṣaṇedaṃparāṇi lokaśreyase jātāni granthajātāni /
tatra vedānte tāvat tattvaṭīkā nāma śrībhagavadrāmānujamunivaraviracitasya śārīrakamīmāṃsābhāṣyasya vivṛtirapūrvārthaviśeṣavinyāsaparibhūṣitā traikālyasaṃbhāvanīyānāmaśeṣākṣepāṇāmacalaniścayān parihārānupadarśayantī gaṅgena gaurīguroretasmādācāryavaryādāvirbhūtā /
sā ca prathamasūtramātramapi yāvadasamagropalabdhapracārā vedāntavidyāvicārakāṅkṣiṇāṃ cintāvyasanāyaiva khaṇḍabhūtā paridṛśyate /
vicitrāyodhanākuṇṭhaśaktau tejasvini svāṃ śakti samagramadarśayitvaiva niyatiyaiyātyenākasmāduparataṃ yodharatne taṭasthadṛṣṭe kasya vā vīradharmamanutiṣṭhato hṛdayaṃ na dūyeta /
soyamasya nibandharatnasya lope dṛṣṭāntaḥ /
kecinmanyeran ācāryaireva na samāpūritāyaṃ grantha iti, tadetat svopamānena sarvatra śaktiparicchedaṃ kalayatāṃ pralapitamatra na kramate /
trividhāḥ khalu loke prabandhakṛtaḥ---kecidgurukulacirapariśramairanekaśaḥ śrutān yathāśrutamarthān patreṣu viniveśya prakāśayanto lokamanugṛhṇanti /
athetare, ye punarjātyaiva sphaṭikāvadātabuddhayaḥ sattvaviśeṣāvirbhāvanistuṣāśayāḥ svataḥ svāntamukuratalasphuṭasaṃkrāntasarvārthapraticchandā api saṃpradāyaparirakṣaṇaśraddhalutayā gurūpadeśadarśitāṃ padavīmavarjayantaścittaghaṇṭāpatheṣu samasamayasaṃcaradakhilapramāṇatarkagurūpadeśasaṃpradāyaviśeṣā ekahelayā bhūyasorthānayatnena grahītuṃ praṇetumapyarhanti /
anye tu nirantarabhajanakṛtaprasadanena bhagavatā sarveśvareṇa dūrapratyūḍhapratyūhavipruṣo niḥśreyasāvadhīni kuśalajātānyanubhavituṃ nijacaraṇaśaraṇānapyanubhāvayituṃ cākuṇṭhaśaktayastṛtīyakakṣyāniviṣṭāḥ /
ta ete vyāsaparāśaravālmīkipramukhairmaharṣigaṇairapi gaṇanīyānubhāvā vilakṣaṇāḥ prabandhakṛtaḥ; yeṣāmekapratibhāsūtrasyūtāni prameyaratnāni punaḥ punaḥ pariśīlitānyapi navanavānīva prajñāvatāṃ hṛdayeṣu kamapi camatkāramāvahanti na ca kadācit purāṇacitravad vicchāyāni bhavanti /
nyāpariśuddhikṛdācāryastu dvitīyatṛtīyayorubhayorapri kakṣyayoḥ hārāvalyoriva nāyakamaṇiḥ prakāśata iti tattvavidāmaparokṣam /
prakṛtisiddhaṃ ca prakrāntasyāntagamanaṃ śaktimatām /
lokānugrahamātraphalā yeṣāṃ sarvāḥ pravṛttayaḥ, tādṛśānāmayatnanirvartanīye lokopakārārthe samārambhe cikīrṣitavicchedaḥ kathamupapadyate ? /
evaṅguṇena cācāryacūḍāmaṇipavanā śiṣyabuddhiṃ prasādayitumārabdhā kṛtirasamāpya madhye apaviddhā bhavatīti ko nukhalu prabhāvavedī pratipattumarhati ? /
api ca "nikhilanigamaśreṇīcūḍāpariṣkṛtirūpiṇī nipuṇamanasāmāśāsaudhasthalīṣu nibadhyate /
yatipatibhuvo bhāṣyasyāsau yathāśratācintita-- pravacanavidhāvaṣṭāviṃśe jayadhvajapaṭṭikā" //
iti svakṛtasya bhāṣyapravacanasya aṣṭāviṃśyāmāvṛttau tattvaṭīkānibandhapraṇayanamācāryastattvaṭīkāprārambhe svayameva spaṣṭamāha /
saṃkalpasūryodayaprastāvanāyāṃ ca--- "viṃśatyabde viśrutanānāvidhavidya- striṃśadvāraṃ śrāvitaśārīrakabhāṣyaḥ /
śreyaḥ śrīmān veṅkaṭanāthaḥ śrutipathyaṃ nāthaprītyai nāṭakamarthyaṃ vyadhitaitat" //
iti sūtradhāravācā śārīrakabhāṣyapravacanaṃ saṃkalpasūryodayanirmāṇakāle triṃśadvārakṛtaṃ prathayati /
tadānīmeva triṃśadvāraṃ śārīrakabhāṣyapravacanamāsīdyadi, tataḥ paścāt pravacanāvṛttayastatopi hi bhūyasyo bhavitumarhanti /
kṛṣṇamiśrasamāgamakālo hi saṃkalpasūryodayanirmāṇasamayaḥ /
tataścāṣṭāviṃśyāmāvṛttau tattvaṭīkānirmāṇaṃ kṛṣṇamiśrasamāgamāt pūrvataraṃ bhavati /
śatadūṣaṇyāḥ samanantaraṃ tattvaṭīkā kṛteti ca pratīyate /
uktaṃ hi svayamevācāryaistattvaṭīkāṃ prakramamāṇaiḥ--- "śātitaḥ śatadūṣaṇyāṃ śaṅkarādimudhāgrahaḥ /
śarīrakaśarīraṃ tu vyaktamatra pradarśyate //
" iti /
"śrutaprakāśikā bhūmau yenādau parirakṣitā /
pravartitā ca pātreṣu tasmai śreṣṭhāya maṅgalam //
" iti kumāravedāntācāryakṛtamaṅgalāśāsanaparāmarśane śrutaprakāśikāpravacanatatparatvamācāryāṇāṃ tattvaṭīkāpūraṇavighātāya jātaṃ syāditi cāpātaramaṇīyam /
śruprakāśikācāryasya himlecchabalopamardalagnasya nijagurusabrahmacāriṇo mumūrṣataḥ prārthanayā tadgrantharakṣaṇapravacanayoraṅgīkārepi naitāvatā svakīyaṃ mahīyāṃsaṃ prabandhapraṇayanaprayatnamācāryo vitathīkariṣyati /
na hmatratyamapūrvamarthajātaṃ granthāntareṇa caritārthaṃ bhavati /
tadidamācāryagranthe kṛtaśramāṇāṃ svata eva suvyaktam /
idānīmupalabhyamānaparyantepi tattvaṭīkāgranthakhaṇḍe ye viṣayāḥ pratipādyantu, naite śrutaprakāśikāyāmanyatra vā granthāntare pratipattuṃ sulabhāḥ /
kiñca svācāryairvādihaṃsāmbuvāhāryaiḥ praṇīte vidyamāna eva hi nyāyakuliśākhye nyāyanibandharatne nyāyapariśuddhimācāryaḥ svayaṃ nibabandha /
avaśyavaktavyeṣu cārtheṣu joṣaṃbhāvaḥ kathañcidapi śāsrācāryatāyāḥ sadṛśo na bhavati /
na ca navanavārthāviṣkaraṇamarvācāṃ prācīnācāryaparibhavāya /
api ca, "nikhilanigamaśreṇīcūḍāpariṣkṛtirūpiṇī nipuṇamanasāmāśāsaudhasthalīṣu nibadhyate" //
iti prabandhopakramapratijñānameva pradarśayati granthāntarairacaritārthasya sarvavedāntārthasaṃskārasya mahāmatibhirapi sarvajñasakāśāt śuśrūṣitasya pratipādanārthamapūrvāyāḥ kṛteḥ samārambha iti /
sa kathaṃ na paripūryeta ? /
kiñca nijanibandhasya śrutaprakāśikārakṣaṇāṅgīkārasamaya eva labdhaprasaratāmanusmṛtya parakīyagranthapravacanamaṅgīkṛtamācāryairiti śakyamabhyūhitum /
tathāca sati tattvaṭīkāgranthalopanidānamarvācāmācāryāṇāṃ tatrāpariśīlanameva, na tu granthāparisamāptiḥ /
yathāhi nyāyasiddhāñjanamapi jaḍadravyaparicche denaiva paryavasitaṃ sāṃprataṃ paridṛśyate, adravyaparicchedastu patita eva /
aśakyaṃ ca tatpūraṇamanyaiḥ /
itthamamumarthaṃ śrīraṅgarāmānujagurureva nyāyasiddhāñjanavyākhyāne "na kvāpyataḥ paramadṛsyata kośaśeṣa- staccheṣapūraṇakṛtiḥ parihāsahetuḥ /
jñātavyamanyadapi tairniraṇāyi samya- ggranthāntareṣviti na kiñcidihāsti cintyam" //
iti nigamayannivedayati /
śatadūṣaṇyapi hi na samagrā dṛśyate /
ṣaṭṣaṣṭireva vādā loke pracaranti /
śeṣe tu mithyaiva kimapyaitihyaṃ kalpayitvā katipaye prajalpanti /
yattāvat dvaitamatakhaṇḍanaparaḥ śeṣo granthaḥ madhvamatasthena kenacidyatinā bhikṣāmaṭatā savinayamupasṛtya prārthitoyamācāryaḥ taṃ tasya bhikṣārthe prāyacchiditi, tadapi na vicārakṣamam /
na hyācāryagrantheṣu kvacidapi madhvamataṃ nirasyate /
tattvaviplavābhāvāt, avāntareṣu cārtheṣu naiyāyikavaiśeṣikādipratipāditasyaiva dvaitasyānuvādāt, anatipracuratayā tasya matasya lokaviplavaprasaṃgābhāvāccānāsthaivācāryāṇāṃ tatra syāt /
ataścatustriṃśadvādā madhvamatakhaṇḍanaparā iti kiṃvadantīmātrametat /
śatadūṣaṇī ca śaṅkādikṛtasūtravyākhyānādinirāsārthameva pravṛtteti ca tadgranthamukha eva sphuṭībhavati /
tatra hi ---- "prācīmupetya padavīṃ yatirājadṛṣṭāṃ tatsaṃnikṛṣṭamapi vā matamāśrayantaḥ /
prājñā yathoditamidaṃ śukavat paṭhantaḥ pracchannabauddhavijaye parito yatadhvam" //
iti pratiśrutam /
atra 'tatsaṃnikṛṣṭamapi vā matamāśrayantaḥ' ityanena dvaitinaḥ svapakṣīkriyante /
advaitakhaṇḍanameva ca granthapravṛttiprayojanamiti ca darśitam /
tathā ca---vidyāraṇyākṣobhyamunivivāde nirṇayaṃ bruvadbhirācāryeḥ "asinā tattvamasinā parajīvaprabhedinā /
vidyāraṇyamahāraṇyamakṣobhyamuniracchinat" //
ityuktam /
'śātitaḥ śatadūṣaṇyāṃ śaṅkarādimudhāgrahaḥ /
' ityatra tu śaṅkarādītyādipadaṃ yādavabhāskarayoḥ saṃgrahāyeti sthitam /
tasmāt samagragranthādarśanamarvācāmācāryāṇāṃ pravacanavicchedanibandhanaṃ prabandhalopaheturiti spaṣṭametat //
atra prasaktānuprasaktamācāryasya kṛṣṇamiśrasamāgamacaritaṃ kiñcidupanyasyate---kṛṣṇamiśro hi gauḍadeśīyaḥ paṇḍitacūḍāmaṇiḥ sarvāsu vidyāsu kalāsu ca saviśeṣakṛtaśramaḥ kaviśca brahmādvaitaṃ siddhantamātiṣṭhamāno vādakutūhalitayā sarvā diśaḥ paryaṭan jitakāśī krameṇa dakṣiṇāndiśamācakrāma /
tatra śrīraṅgaṃ divyakṣetraṃ viduṣāmāvāsamākarṇya devasevāpadeśena vādasamaramarthayamānaḥ śrīraṅgarājasya bhavagataḥ prāsādamāsadāda /
tadānīṃ tatra bhāṣāmayīrgāthāḥ sarāgatālaṃ gīyamānā niśamya tatkartṝṇāṃ ca kavīnāṃ varṇāvarāṇāmapi pratimāstasmin devālaye devopacārairārādhyamānā viditvā tatra sevāsamavetān jñānavṛddhān śrīvaiṣṇavānāmantrya 'bhoḥ prājñāḥ, bhavatāmanenāpabhraṃśapāṭhena varṇāvarapūjanena ca dūrāpoḍhaṃ veṣṇavaṃ tejaḥ /
kimanenārādhanena ? /
anthathākṛtamakṛtaṃ hi bhavati' iti sākṣepaṃ papraccha /
yadā tairmilitairapi na kiñcidākṣepasadṛśamuttaraṃ pratipannaṃ, tadā tadātanāya taddeśādhipataye tamarthamāvedya, pratiṣṭhāprabhṛti sarva evālayasaṃskāraḥ kāryaḥ pratyagra eva iti ca niyamya taṃ divyālayaṃ gāḍhaghaṭitārgaladvāraṃ parityaktāśeṣapūjotsavaṃ ca kārayāmāsa /
lokācāryaprabhṛtayaśca bahavastatra darśanaguravastādṛśaṃ vaiśasamacintitopanatamanusmṛtya durante duḥkhasāgare nimagnāstaṃ ca prativādinaṃ sarvavidyāviśāradaṃ vādāhavanavaśūramaprakampyamākalayantaḥ sabhāmabhinavāṃ kāmapi saṃgamayya tasyānarthasya kiñcidapi pratividhānaṃ cintayāmāsuḥ /
tasmin mahati sadasi viduṣāṃ saṃpradāyācāryaḥ śrīmān lokācāryaḥ sarveṣāṃ sabhāsadāmavadheyavacanaḥ samarthāmabhyarhitāṃ vācamādade--- "bhoḥ bhāgavatapradhānāḥ, balavantaṃ paripanthinaṃ parāṅmukhīkartumupāyaḥ kaścidatra me pratibhāti /
sa tāvaducyamāno bhavadbhiranumanyatām /
asti kila kāñcyāṃ nagaryāṃ veṅkaṭanāthāryo nāma viduṣāṃ prathamaḥ /
sa hi vṛṣaśailanāthasya ghaṇṭāṃśa evāvatīrṇaḥ iti tattvavidāṃ grahaṇam /
soyaṃ pañcavarṣadeśīyaḥ śiśureva san nijamātulena vādihaṃsāmbuvāhenātreyarāmānujācāryeṇa śārīrakabhāṣyagrahaṇāya varadagurusakāśaṃ gacchatā priyabhāgineyena nītastatra bhāṣyaviṣaye prasaktān bahūn saṃdehaśṛṅkhalāgranthīn visraṃsayaṃstayā tatrasamavetayā prajñāvṛddhapariṣadā apūrvaprasādavismayacitritacittayā sabahumānamavalokitaḥ śrīmatā ca varadaguruṇā śrībhagavadrāmānujasiddhāntasya daivāt saṃprati saṃjātamavalambanamiti baddhāśvāsena, 'pratiṣṭhāpitavedāntaḥ pratikṣaptabahirmataḥ /
bhūyāstraividyamānyastvaṃ bhūrikalyāṇabhājanam //
' ityāśiṣaṃ prayuñjānena 'asya kumārasya svataḥ pratibhātasamastaśāstrārthasārasya vidyāsaṃskāramātraphalo gurūpadeśo bhaviṣyati /
na tu jñāne kaścidapi śaktileśa ādheyo bhavati /
bhagavānapi hi devakīnandanaḥ vidyāgrahaṇāya sāṃdīpinerācāryasya sakāśe gurukulavāsamagrahīt /
kiṃ cāsya śaiśava evāyaṃ prajñāprakarṣo dāśaratheriva vikramatiśayo janmasiddhaḥ /
nāsau puruṣāntaradṛṣṭiviṣayaṃ prāpayituṃ yuktam /
sābhyasūyāḥ savismāyā vā dṛśo nāsmin bālavayasi patitumarhanti /
dṛṣṭidoṣairhi viṣānalairiva prasaradbhistarava ivāvalāḍhāḥ kati nāma mahāguṇāḥ puruṣāḥ svaguṇairlokamanupakṛtyaivāstaṃ gatāḥ /
bhavānevāmuṃ sarvaśāstreṣu kṛtaprajñaṃ kartumarhati /
śrībhagavadrāmānujasiddhāntasyaiṣa jayadhvajaḥ samucchrīyatām' iyādiśya śiśurasau nijamātule vādihaṃsāmbudācārye nyāsīkṛtaḥ //
athāsau vayasā viṃśativarṣadeśīya eva san sarvatomukhaprasṛtaprabodhatayā pareṣāmanabhibhavanīyaḥ saṃvṛttaḥ /
evamakṣayyapratibhādraviṇena sarveṣvapi ca tantreṣu nirāmayaṃ panthānamavagantuṃ prasādayituṃ cālaṅkarmīṇena cācāryeṇā sārdhaṃ kadācit kāñcīnagare devadevasya bhagavataḥ śrīdevarājasya vaiśākhamāsike yātrāmahotsave vidvatsaṃvādakutūhalitayā samāgataḥ sarvapathīnavaiduṣīvibhavaḥ prabandharatnapraṇetā cākhilaśāstreṣu vidyāraṇya iti kṛtapraśastināmadheyo mādhavācāryo nāma vedabhāṣyakṛt vādāhave lagno niraṅkuśaniśitatarkaśarāsāravarṣiṇaḥ ācāryasyāgrataḥ pratyavasthātumakṣamo vismayabahumānabharitamanā vijayanagaraṃ prayātaḥ svaśiṣyasya rājñastamarthaṃ yathāvṛttamāvedya tathāvidhavidvadratnadarśanotkaṇṭhātvaritasya prabhoḥ prārthanayā chatracāmaraprabhṛtisamastarājaparibarhaparibṛṃhitaṃ rājaupavāhyapuraḥsaraṃ pradhānasacivahastārpitasabahumānasamāhvānalekhaṃ ca caturaṅgabalaṃ praṇīyaḥ prārthito vairāgyapañcakaṃ tasya pratyuttarayāñcakāra /
tena ca mādhavācāryeṇa svīye sarvadarśanasaṃgrahe rāmānujadarśanamupakṣipatā--- 'taduktaṃ veṅkaṭanāthena tattvamuktākakalāpe' ityupakramya, // śrīḥ //
// śrīmate hayavadanaparabrahmaṇe namaḥ //
// śrīmate rāmānujāya namaḥ //
// śrīmate nigamāntamahādeśikāya namaḥ //
śrīmāna veṅkaṭanāthārthaḥ kavitārkikakesarī /
